Abstract

The invention discloses an outer handle device for a vehicle, comprising: an outer handle housing installed on the outer side of a door outer panel of the vehicle; a handle base installed on the inner side of the door outer panel and coupled to the outer handle housing body; a handle rod disposed on the inside of the door outer panel so as to be rotatably disposed in the handle base and connected to the outer handle housing; and an auxiliary lever placed on the inner side of the door outer panel so as to be rotatably disposed in the handle base and selectively restricts rotation of the handle rod. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the door from being opened in the event of a side collision to improve crash performance, thereby improving safety and marketability.
