Abstract

The invention provides a tooth adhesive system based on a new hydrophobic adhesion concept. The tooth adhesive system comprises a single-component adhesive and a bi-component adhesive, wherein the necessary components of the single-component adhesive and the bi-component adhesive are a hydrophobization reagent, solvents, hydrophobic polymeric monomers and photopolymerization initiators. The system is characterized in that hydrophobic modification is firstly carried out on tooth surfaces in the adhering process, so that the tooth surfaces are converted from hydrophilic surfaces to hydrophobic surfaces.
