The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a network parameter used for expressing a current network state; according to the network parameter, determining a packet loss type of a current network, wherein the packet loss type includes a congestion packet loss or a random link packet loss; and based on the packet loss type, adjusting a transmission mode of current network streaming media data.
