Abstract

The invention discloses a snapshot creation method. The method comprises the steps of determining source data of snapshot to be created in a host, conducting snapshot creation on the source data of the snapshot to be created on a memory array, and saving the created snapshot in the memory array. It can be seen that after the source data of the snapshot to be created are determined, snapshot creation is conducted on the source data of the snapshot to be created on the memory array instead of being directly conducted on the host, so that the problem of the prior art that user experience of the host side is reduced due to the fact that the system resource of the host side needs to be used for snapshot creation is solved.
