Abstract

The invention provides a method for representing a quality factor of a friction nano generator. A maximum energy output cycle of the friction nano generator is proposed initially based on a voltage V-transfer charge quantity Q curve of the friction nano generator; and based on the cycle, a performance quality factor of the generator is proposed, including a structural quality factor related with design of the generator and a material quality factor which is equal to square of surface charge density. The invention also provides a standard method for representing the material quality factor; and the surface charge density of a frictional layer material is measured in a relatively accurate manner by liquid metal. The performance quality factor determined by the standard method for representing the output performance of the friction nano generator provided by the invention can be used as a common standard for evaluating the performance of the friction nano generator.
