Abstract

Experiments indicate that the wolfberry red may treat hepatitis B complicated by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease by: improving liver tissue lipid droplet accumulation, inflammatory cell infiltration and hepatic fibrosis, improving liver damage or abnormality of four times of blood lipid test, promoting SREBP-1c expression, inhibiting ATGL (adipose triglyceride lipase) expression and inhibiting HBV (hepatitis B virus) and HBsAg (hepatitis B surface antigen).
