Abstract
The invention discloses a six-coding element article bar code. The invention belongs to an improved EAN-13 bar code, and relates to a one-dimensional code field. The object of the invention is to provide the improved EAN-13 bar code, and by adopting the improved EAN-13 bar code, accuracy of automatic identification of photoelectric equipment is higher. In order to achieve the above mentioned object, coding rules of ten numeric characters are changed; from original eight coding elements into six coding elements, namely, bar, bar bar, bar bar bar, null, null null, null null null, and the left and right width of every numeric character is only five units, and in addition, an arrangement structure is (odd integer position) two bars and one null (even integer position) one bar and two nulls, or, (odd integer position) one bar and two nulls (even integer position) two bars and one null. The six-coding element article bar code is advantageous in that the accuracy of the automatic identification of the photoelectric equipment is higher.
