The nicotine detection system comprises a saliva infusion bottle, an artificial oral cavity bottle, a constant volume device and an analysis device, a flow speed controller is arranged on a duct between the saliva infusion bottle and the artificial oral cavity bottle; and a first adjustable peristaltic pump is arranged on a duct between a receiving constant volume bottle and the artificial oral cavity bottle for extracting a liquid from the artificial oral cavity bottle after every predetermined time interval. Artificial saliva for detection is provided by the saliva infusion bottle, a leaching operation is carried out on a to-be-detected tobacco product in the artificial oral cavity bottle at the lower side, the flow speed controller is arranged on the outlet pipeline of the saliva infusion bottle, and the artificial saliva flows into the artificial oral cavity bottle at a certain speed so as to simulate the secretion rate of the saliva; and the adjustable peristaltic pump extracts the saliva after every predetermined time interval to keep the lixivium in the artificial oral cavity bottle at a certain volume so as to simulate the saliva swallowing condition in a real oral cavity, and the problem that the detection effect of the nicotine digestion detection system is inaccurate is solved.
