Abstract

The invention relates to a wireless communication apparatus and a method for controlling the same. According to one aspect of the invention, the wireless communication apparatus has a first transceiver that transmits and receives at least one signal according to cellular wireless wide area communication technology, a second transceiver that transmits and receives at least one signal according to short-range wireless communication technology or wireless metropolitan-area system communication technology, a filter that is connected to the second transceiver and has filter characteristic, and a processor that is coupled to the first transceiver for controlling the first transceiver to transmit signals having transmission band width based on the set filter characteristic of the filter.
