The invention discloses a highway vehicle non-forced lane changing control method under the environment of internet of vehicles. Non-forced lane changing is the behavior that a lane changing vehicle changes to the nearby lane of better traffic state to drive to improve the vehicle driving state and the driving speed of the front vehicle is low. The method comprises the steps that the vehicle driven on the highway can implement vehicle-vehicle communication and perform real-time data exchange with surrounding vehicles within the communication range through a wireless communication mode under the environment of internet of vehicles; and when a certain vehicle has a non-forced lane changing demand, the vehicle transmits a request to the surrounding vehicles to acquire position and speed information of other vehicles, judgment is performed according to different traffic states within the communication range around the vehicle, the forced lane changing behavior of the lane changing vehicle is controlled and thus safe and efficient implementation of the non-forced lane changing behavior can be realized. The state of the lane changing vehicle and other relevant vehicles is analyzed and the non-forced lane changing behavior of the vehicle is reasonably organized accordingly so that safe and efficient implementation of the non-forced lane changing behavior can be realized.
