Abstract

The invention discloses a mold for producing a netted optical fiber ribbon. The mold comprises a first eye mold layer, a first injected glue mold layer, a second injected glue mold layer and a second eye mold layer which are sequentially in sealed connection along an optical fiber passing direction. The centers of the first eye mold layer and the second eye mold layer are respectively provided with mold eyes for a plurality of optical fibers to pass through in a parallel mode. The first injected glue mold layer and the second injected glue mold layer both include outer mold sleeves and inner molds arranged in a radial direction, and the inner molds are attached to the inner walls of the outer mold sleeves in a sealed mode. The centers of the inner molds are provided with groove holes for the optical fibers to pass through in a parallel mode. Glue accommodating cavities are arranged between the outer mold sleeves and the inner molds. Several glue dispensing holes are arranged in the groove hole surfaces perpendicular to the optical fiber passing direction. The glue dispensing holes communicate with the glue accommodating cavities and the groove holes, and are positioned between each two adjacent optical fibers. The glue dispensing holes in the first injected glue mold layer and the second injected glue mold layer are staggered for the position of one optical fiber along the optical fiber arrangement direction so as to enable the plurality of connected optical fibers to form a net shape. According to the mold of the invention, two rows of glue can be dispensed on one mold at one time so as to reduce the frequency of glue supplying in a dot mode and lower the manufacturing cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of optical fiber moulds, and in particular relates to a mold for producing mesh optical fiber ribbons. Background technique [0002] Mesh optical fiber ribbon is a new type of optical fiber ribbon. Compared with traditional optical cables, mesh optical fiber ribbon can effectively solve the problem that the current high-speed development of broadband access network cannot meet the needs of traditional underground access network solutions while maintaining the same outer diameter. Outstanding issue. The core technology of the mesh optical fiber ribbon is the optical fiber ribbon. Its soft and rollable characteristics enable it to accommodate a higher number of cores in a certain volume, thereby increasing the overall number of cores of the cable. Producing mesh fiber optic ribbons requires specialized equipment. Contents of the invention [0003] The object of the present invention is to provide a mold for producin...
