Abstract

The needle-free injection device comprises: a container receiver (110) adapted to receive a container (120) for containing said drug (126) to be dispensed; a dispensing mechanism (130) for said dispensing a mechanism (130) for injecting said drug (126) in said container (120); and a radio frequency identification system (140) associated with said container receiver (110), The radio frequency identification system (140) is capable of two-way communication with a radio frequency identification tag (125) attached to the container (120) and enables dispensing of the drug (126) only under given conditions.
