A portable subspan measuring device comprises a positioning frame, a traveling wheel, a measuring wheel, a counter, a control chip and a display. The positioning frame comprises an upper positioning plate and a lower positioning plate which are connected with each other, and the right side of the upper positioning plate is provided with a first horizontal positioning shaft, the traveling wheel is arranged on the first positioning shaft through a bearing, the right side of the lower positioning plate is provided with a horizontal second positioning shaft, the measuring wheel is disposed on the second positioning shaft through the bearing, the traveling wheel and the measuring wheel are corresponding to each other and are provided with a gap therebetween for accommodating the wire, and the counter is located on the lower positioning plate and used to calculate the walking distance of the measuring wheel; the control chip and the display are fixed on the upper positioning plate, and the signal output end of the counter is connected with the input interface of the control chip, and the display is connected with the output interface of the control chip.
