Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: 1) meter search operation is started, and a collector or a concentrator sends a meter search command; 2) a meter judges whether to respond to the command and returns meter reading data when receiving the meter search command, and the meter delays randomly, responds to the collector and returns the meter reading data if failing to be read by the collector in 24 hours or longer; 3) the collector submits a response message from the meter to the concentrator after receiving the response message from the meter; 4) the concentrator performs filing based on completed meter information; 5) the concentrator submits new meter information to a main station, and the main station performs meter filing, and the corresponding meter is managed by an optimal meter management concentrator.
