Abstract

The invention provides a task scheduling method and apparatus. For each task processing priority, a task queue corresponding to the priority is configured. The method comprises the steps that a task receiving module receives a to-be-processed task and adds the to-be-processed task to a task queue corresponding to a priority of the to-be-processed task according to the priority of the to-be-processed task; a task scheduling module sets a selection probability for each task queue according to the priority of each task queue and a quantity of currently contained tasks, wherein the selection probability of each task queue is positively correlated with the priority of each task queue and the quantity of the tasks currently contained in each task queue; and according to the selection probability of each task queue, randomly selecting a queue, and performing processing on the tasks in the selected queue. According to the method and the apparatus, the scheduling scheme capable of considering the task priority and the task quantity at the same time is provided, so that the system performance problem caused by accumulation of a large amount of task data can be avoided.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to the field of computer technology, in particular to a task scheduling method and device. Background technique [0002] With the rapid development of computer technology and Internet technology, users can easily access the Internet and submit tasks to servers on the Internet, and the server can provide users with corresponding services by executing the tasks submitted by users. For an Internet product, it is often used by a large number of users at the same time. When a user sends a task request instruction when using an Internet product, the server usually submits the task corresponding to the task request instruction to an abstract queue, accumulates the tasks, and then selects a specific task from the queue through some scheduling strategies and sends it to the server. Trigger execution. [0003] The most widely used scheduling strategies in related technologies are FIFO (First In First Out) and fair scheduling alg...
