Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a video monitoring system, which comprises a front-end device and a back-end device. The front-end device comprises a first high-pass filtering circuit and a first low-pass filtering circuit, the first high-pass filtering circuit allows video signals with the frequency of HZ level and above to pass through and isolates DC signals, and the first low-pass filtering circuit allows DC signals to pass through and isolates video signals. A video signal output port of the front-end device is connected with a coaxial cable by means of the first high-pass filtering circuit, and the coaxial cable is connected with a power supply input port of the front-end device by means of the first low-pass filtering circuit. The back-end device comprises a second high-passfiltering circuit and a second low-pass filtering circuit, the second high-pass filtering circuit allows video signals to pass through and isolates DC signals, and the second low-pass filtering circuit allows DC signals to pass through and isolates video signals. A power supply output port of the back-end device is connected with the coaxial cable by means of the second low-pass filtering circuit, and the coaxial cable is connected with a video signal input port of the back-end device by means of the second high-pass filtering circuit. The video monitoring system can reduce the application cost of the coaxial power supply technology, and expands the frequency range of the video signals to which the coaxial power supply technology is applicable.
