Problems solved by technology

[0009] In this patent document 2, the crushing method and conditions using a bead mill are introduced. However, if the particles with a large particle size are crushed, a large number of defective parts will be generated in the crystal structure, so the thermal discoloration and storage stability will be reduced.

Abstract

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing vanadium dioxide-containing particles which have excellent thermochromic properties and storage stability. This method for producing vanadium dioxide-containing particles is characterized by including: a step of forming the vanadium dioxide-containing particles by a hydrothermal reaction; and a step of fracturing the vanadium dioxide-containing particles wherein the particle size of 80 number% or more of the vanadium dioxide-containing particles is 50 nm or less.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for producing vanadium dioxide-containing particles, and more specifically, to a method for producing vanadium dioxide-containing particles excellent in thermochromism and storage stability. Background technique [0002] Vanadium dioxide (VO 2 ) particles have attracted attention as a material exhibiting a thermochromic phenomenon in which optical properties such as light transmittance and light reflectance change reversibly due to temperature changes. [0003] In the crystal structure of vanadium dioxide particles, polymorphisms of several crystal phases, such as A phase, B phase, C phase, and R phase (referred to as a so-called "rutile crystal phase"), exist. Among them, the crystal structure showing the above-mentioned thermochromic phenomenon is limited to the R phase. The R phase has a monoclinic structure below the transition temperature, and is therefore also called an M phase. [0004] In such vanadi...
