Abstract

The invention discloses a rotary knob type gear shifting device. The rotary knob type gear shifting device comprises a rotary knob, a rotary table, a connecting rod, a first gear set, a second gear set and a driving mechanism. Gear shifting is conducted when the rotary knob is rotated. The rotary table and the rotary knob are fixed in the circumferential direction, a sliding groove which extends in the circumferential direction and a first limiting groove which communicates with the sliding groove are formed in the rotary table, and a plurality of teeth are arranged on the circumferential surface of the rotary table. A locking part which penetrates into the sliding groove or the first limiting groove is arranged on the connecting rod. The connecting rod is fixedly connected to the first gear set. The second gear set meshes with the first gear set and is connected to the connecting rod in a rotating mode. The driving mechanism drives the first gear set to rotate so as to drive the connecting rod and the second gear set to rotate, and therefore the locking part can be shifted between the sliding groove and the first limiting groove, and the second gear set and the teeth on the rotarytable can mesh with each other or can be separated from each other. By the adoption of the rotary knob type gear shifting device, the purpose that the gear can be automatically reset to the parking gear, and is locked on the parking gear can be achieved.
