Abstract

The invention provides a residual air utilization air compressor. The residual air utilization air compressor comprises upstream air supply equipment, a host and an air inlet control system. The upstream air supply equipment supplies air to upstream air utilization equipment and is provided with a blowoff valve, and surplus supplied air is exhausted through an outlet of the blowoff valve. The airinlet control system comprises an air inlet, an air inlet pressure sensor, an air inlet temperature sensor, a pneumatic ball valve and a control electromagnetic valve. The air inlet communicates withthe outlet of the blowoff valve. The air inlet pressure sensor, the air inlet temperature sensor and the pneumatic ball valve are sequentially arranged on a pipeline between the air inlet and a host inlet in a series connection manner. Pneumatic drive force is provided for an executing mechanism of the pneumatic ball valve through a control air source, the control air source communicates with an inlet of the control electromagnetic valve, and the executing mechanism of the pneumatic ball valve communicates with an outlet of the control electromagnetic valve. The residual air utilization air compressor has the beneficial effects that after the surplus supplied air is pressurized through equipment, the surplus supplied air can be used to other equipment needing higher-pressure compressed airwhile the power consumption of the air compressor originally producing air is reduced, and accordingly the total energy consumption is reduced.
