Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a screen direction setting method, a screen direction setting device, a storage medium and a terminal. The method comprises the steps of receiving a setting application for a screen direction sent by an application program; judging whether the application program is a preloaded application program; and if so, prohibiting to update the system screen direction according to the setting application. According to the embodiment, by use of the abovementioned technical scheme, a setting operation of the system screen direction can be reasonably controlled ina preloading process of the application program, the setting application for the screen direction sent by the preloading application is prevented from interfering with a current system screen direction, and the system display stability is guaranteed.
