The application discloses a
dehydrogenation catalyst and a preparation method and application of the
dehydrogenation catalyst in synthesis of OPP from
cyclohexanone dimers. The preparation method of the
dehydrogenation catalyst comprises the following steps: S1, a mixture containing an
alumina source, an additive and a binder is extruded, dried and calcined to obtain the
alumina carrier; the
alumina source comprises macroporous pseudo-
boehmite and microporous pseudo-
boehmite; the macroporous pseudo-
boehmite has a pore volume of 0.9-1.1 cm 3 / g; the microporous pseudo-boehmite has a pore volume of 0.4-0.6 cm 3 / g; the additive comprises a
potassium salt; S2, the carrier is immersed in a solution containing a
noble metal salt, and the obtained impregnated product is dried and calcined; the conditions of the immersion meet at least one of the following conditions: 1) the temperature of the immersion is 40-90 DEG C; 2) the pressure of the immersion is -1-0 MPa and does not include 0 MPa. The preparation method is simple, and the additive does not need to be secondarily impregnated; and the obtained dehydrogenation catalyst has the advantages of
high carbon deposition resistance, excellent stability and high catalytic activity.
