A method for adjust a candidate term, a DEVICE, an APPARATUS, AND a READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM are disclosed, the method comprising receiving a selection request for a target candidate entry of the displayed candidate entries, further acquiring and displaying a split result of a target candidate entry, determining a word classified as correct and a word classified as incorrect in the target candidateentry in response to a correct classification operation of the displayed split result, and further acquiring and displaying a re-decoding result of an encoded fragment corresponding to the word classified as incorrect in input encoding information. According to the scheme of the present application, by splitting the target candidate term, the correct term does not need to be searched again by theuser, and the encoded fragment corresponding to the wrong term is re-decoded by the present application, and the user only needs to select the correct term from the re-decoded result, thereby greatlyreducing the search time of the user and improving the input efficiency.
