Problems solved by technology

[0002] At present, a nuclear magnetic resonance (MIR) and X-ray scanning technology is popular in the world and has been applied to the phenotype observation of some plant roots in recent years, but it has not been widely accepted due to its high cost and low operability.
This year, Polish scientists successfully developed an automatic root phenotype observation system for oats using glass beads as the growth medium, with the help of image recognition and splicing technology. However, because the root system of rice is too complicated compared with oats, this technology cannot be applied to rice.
Most of the existing equipment only studies one of the light or the root system, and lacks a kind of equipment that concentrates them together to reduce the number of equipment

Embodiment

[0037] In order to avoid waste caused by too much soil, the seeds are placed between the biofilm and the observation board to form a thin-plate-shaped cultivation environment; the outer splint of the root is designed as a transparent board for the convenience of observation and photography of the seeds, and in order to realize single-machine multi-directional shooting in the box A rotation device is designed at the bottom, and the rotation device is driven by a motor.

[0038] In order to simulate the soil environment, the shell at the lower cavity is designed as a full shading shell, and the shooting door is only opened and the shooting device is placed at the shooting door when taking pictures.

[0039] When only using three-color LED lights to simulate lighting, close the side wall door of the upper chamber to form a full light-shielding environment. The wall door is opened to bring in the light from the outside environment.

Abstract

The invention provides a small-sized plant root system culture and detection apparatus with a featured illumination apparatus. The small-sized plant root system culture and detection apparatus comprises a PLC, a photographing apparatus, an illumination control apparatus and a vertical soil simulation plate; a nutritional layer which is filled with soil is vertically arranged in the soil simulationplate; a vertical surface of the nutritional layer is a cultivation surface; the cultivation surface is adjacent to an observation window; the illumination control apparatus comprises a three-base-color LED lamp and an illumination sensor, the three-base-color LED lamp and the illumination sensor are arranged above the soil simulation plate, the illumination sensor is adjacent to a test plant cultivated by the soil simulation plate, an illumination value for a test scheme is stored in the PLC, when the observation test is performed, the PLC adjusts an illumination state of the three-base-color LED lamp according to the light intensity data measured by the illumination sensor, so that the illumination for the test plant can achieve an illumination value for the test; the photographing apparatus performs the photographing record for a root system growth condition on a cultivation surface by virtue of the observation window; and the illumination detection and root system phenotypic observation are integrated to focus on the research.
