Abstract

The invention relates to a luffing hydraulic system of a boom and a crane. The luffing hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic cylinder, a control valve and a balance valve, wherein the hydraulic cylinder is used for driving the boom to luff and comprises a first cavity and a second cavity, and when the boom falls, hydraulic fluid is discharged out of the first cavity and then is guided into the second cavity; the control valve comprises an inlet used for guiding in the hydraulic fluid, a return port used for discharging the hydraulic fluid, a first fluid port and a second fluid port and has afirst state and a second state, an inlet of the control valve communicates with the first fluid port in the first state, and the inlet of the control valve communicates with the second fluid port in the second state; the balance valve is connected between the first fluid port of the control valve and the first cavity of the hydraulic cylinder and is provided with control fluid port used for guiding in the hydraulic fluid for controlling the opening degree of the control valve, and the control fluid port communicates with the second fluid port of the control valve; and the control valve furthercomprises a valve body, a first valve element and a pressure reduction valve, wherein the valve body is provided with the first valve cavity, and the first valve element is movably arranged in the first valve cavity to enable the control valve to be switched to the first state or the second state.
