Abstract

The eight basin type insulators are arranged in the test device; and the UHF sensors are arranged at in flange small holes of the basin type insulators. The sensors for transmission and receiving are installed at four different positions respectively and are connected with the oscilloscope. Attenuation characteristics of electromagnetic waves can be obtained by testing attenuation characteristics of the electromagnetic waves at different structures of the GIS, such as three typical GIS structures of I type, L type and T type. According to the invention, measurement of the attenuation of the on-site GIS partial discharge electromagnetic wave signal can be realized; the attenuation characteristics of the partial discharge electromagnetic wave signal during the propagation in the GIS can be obtained; and thus a sufficient basis is provided for the distribution positions of on-site UHF sensors.
