Abstract

The invention discloses a road obstacle detection prompt alarm system and an alarm method thereof. The system comprises a 220V single-phase alternating current power supply, radars, an AC/DC converter, relays, a main control unit, a power meter and a lamp brightness adjusting device. The radars are installed on street lamps of a road. Each street lamp is provided with one radar; and the radars areused for detecting obstacles on the road. The 220V single-phase alternating current power supply comprises two paths, wherein one path passes through the AC/DC converter to be direct current, and theother path passes through the relay and the power meter to provide a 220V power supply for the street lamps; the main control unit controls on and off of the street lamps through the relays; the maincontrol unit adjusts the brightness of the street lamps through the lamp brightness adjusting device; and the main control unit receives detection results returned by the radars in real time. Suddenfaults of the road can be compared and detected; when obstacles are detected, the front and rear adjacent street lamps are linked in time to enhance the brightness of the street lamps; and meanwhile,the system reports dangerous situations to a system background to prompt road maintenance personnel to clear the faults in time.
