Abstract

The invention provides an equipment state monitoring method and device. The method comprises the steps: detecting a current state value of a target state; checking whether the current state value of the target state is changed relative to the recorded state value of the target state or not: if so, reporting the current state value of the target state to the client through the connection between the equipment and the client, and updating the recorded state value of the target state by utilizing the current state value of the target state. According to the invention, for the current state valuedetected each time, only a changed state value is reported, and the client does not need to regularly inquire each state, so the network interaction between the equipment and the client can be reduced; moreover, since the client only receives the changed state value of the target state each time instead of the state values of all the states, the data receiving pressure of the client can be reduced, the network flow can be saved, and the state reporting real-time performance can be improved especially under the condition of poor network environment.
