Abstract

The present invention discloses a measuring method of vigor of sunflower seeds. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly sowing disinfected sunflower seeds in a germination box with wet coarse sand at a bottom part, then covering the sunflower seeds with qualitative filter paper, then covering a layer of wet coarse and on the qualitative filter paper, and then placing the germination box in a condition of 13 DEG C for 2 days; and taking out the cultured germination box and placing the germination box in a condition of 24-26 DEG C for a germination test, counting a paper-passing germination rate of the sunflower seeds 4-5 days after germination and measuring the vigor of the sunflower seeds according to the paper-passing germination rate. The measuring method effectively simulates adversity environment of sunflower field emergence by combining a low temperature treatment and a paper-passing germination test. Besides, through a correlation analysis and a regression analysis, the paper-passing emergence rate obtained by the method is extremely significantly related to the seed field emergence rate. The measuring method can accurately predict emergence of the seeds in the field and results are accurate and reliable.
