Abstract

The invention discloses a massage method and a neck massage device. The massage method includes detecting, by a neck massage device, the neck characteristics of a user through sensors, sending the obtained neck characteristics of the user to a control center, analyzing the neck characteristics by the control center, and generating different massage instructions according to different neck characteristics; and after the massage instructions are generated, receiving the massage instructions by the neck massage device, sorting the multiple massage instructions, generating a complete set of massage modes according to the sorted massage instructions, and performing massage on the user according to the massage instructions. Thus, the neck massage device can generate the massage method suitable for the user according to the different neck characteristics of the user, so that the uncomfortable feeling of the user can be effectively prevented due to fixed massage modes which are unsuitable forthe user during massage; and the physiological and pathological conditions of the user can be effectively adjusted by performing massage on the user according to the massage method generated by the neck characteristics of the user.
