The method comprises the steps of obtaining a to-be-matched trajectory map Mvi; searching a matched trajectory map Ms matched with the trajectory map Mvi to be matched; carrying out map element matching transformation on the to-be-matched track map Mvi and a matched track map Ms; carrying out road sign matchingtransformation on the map Mvi-X1 and a map Ms-X1; respectively fusing the feature information in each matched road sign in the map Mvi-X2 and the map Ms-X2 by using a weighted average method, and replacing the corresponding feature information in the map Ms-X2 with the fused road sign feature information; and adding the unmatched roads in the map Mvi-X1 and the road map elements into the map Ms-X3. By means of the mapping method, mapping can be conducted according to the map uploaded by the vehicle end or other terminals, the map of the server end can be corrected according to the maps uploaded by the multiple terminals, and therefore the obtained map is more accurate.
