Problems solved by technology

[0007] The disadvantage of this solution is that only the point-like connection of adjacent concrete layers can be achieved, and the large-area reinforcement achieved by traditional manufacturing methods such as steel pads cannot be achieved

Embodiment Construction

[0025] To carry out the method of the invention, a 3D printer in the form of a fully automatic portal robot capable of printing walls of a building or entire room units or other vertical units in successive layers is used in a known manner. figure 1 The production process of component 1 is shown in , which consists of a plurality of superimposed printed concrete layers, wherein the uppermost layer is indicated by the reference sign 2 and the layer below it is indicated by the reference sign 3 . The figure shows that the uppermost layer 2 is still being produced, ie during the printing operation. The print head 6 is only shown schematically.

[0026] figure 1 Two variants of embedding reinforcing elements 4 and 5 in layers 2 and 3 of component 1 are shown.

[0027] In the two shown variants, first a lower layer 3 of hardenable material (here concrete) is 3D printed, and further upper stiffening elements are joined together with the lower stiffening element 4 protruding from t...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a component (1) from a curable material, wherein, in periodically recurring steps, a new layer (2) of the material is printed in a 3D printing process onto a layer (3) lying thereunder with lower reinforcing elements (4), which protrude above the upper side of this new layer (2), and also relates to a component produced by a corresponding method. Known methods and components do not allow reinforcement over a large surface area. The object of designing a method in such a way that its reinforcement withstands great loads is achieved by providing that, after the printing of each layer (3), upper reinforcing elements (5) are connected to the lower reinforcing elements (4), with the effect of lengthening the lower reinforcing elements (4) and forming the lower reinforcing elements of the layer following on top. A corresponding component is the subject of claim 11.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for producing a component from a hardenable material according to the preamble of claim 1 and a corresponding component according to the preamble of claim 8 . Background technique [0002] Buildings from concrete are likewise mainly based on manual craftsmanship in industrialized countries. Such buildings or parts of these buildings can in principle be produced in two different ways. Firstly, it is possible to work on the formwork on site, and then pour so-called cast-in-place concrete into the formwork, in which additional reinforcement can be inserted in the case of load-bearing components. There is then a period of waiting until the concrete has partially or fully hardened, after which the formwork can be removed, cleaned and reused. This method is time-consuming and requires a large number of employees on the construction site. [0003] Alternatively, the concrete parts of the building are cast in a factory befo...
