Abstract

One or more embodiments of the invention provide a method and a device for detecting authenticity of a certificate. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a certificate image of a to-be-detected certificate, wherein the certificate image is acquired in a rotation process of the to-be-detected certificate; acquiring certificate surface information of a to-be-detected certificate based on the certificate image; and under the condition that the certificate surface information meets a preset detection condition, determining that the certificate to be detected is a real certificate.
