Abstract

The invention discloses an approximate reversible image translation method based on joint interframe coding and embedding. According to the image translation method, inter-frame coding is performed on a pseudo video composed of a reconstructed source image based on a generative adversarial network and a source image, and a generated coding bit stream is reversibly embedded into a translation image, so that the translation image can be inversely transformed into the reconstructed source image approximately reversibly while the source image is transformed into the translation image. According to the image translation method, the defect that reversibility cannot be guaranteed by an existing image translation method is overcome, an approximately reversible image translation technical framework is constructed, and the image quality of a reconstructed source image in image translation is improved.
