Problems solved by technology

However, most patients with small cell lung cancer rapidly develop resistance after treatment even though they are sensitive to chemotherapy
Moreover, the patient's condition progresses rapidly and is prone to metastasis, so the treatment options are very limited.

Abstract

The invention discloses application of m6A related lncRNA in predicting prognosis and chemotherapy response of small cell lung cancer. The technical scheme protected by the invention is application of substances for detecting expression quantities of seven lncRNA genes including WARS2-IT1, AC005162, AC130352, AC015971, FOXP1-IT1, AC040963 and LINC00355 in preparing a system for predicting prognosis and / or chemotherapy benefit of a patient with small cell lung cancer. The risk value of the patient to be detected is obtained by processing the expression quantity data of the seven lncRNA genes, the threshold value of the risk value is calculated and determined, and the prognosis and chemotherapy benefit condition of the patient with small cell lung cancer can be judged according to the threshold value. The application disclosed by the invention can provide reference basis for clinical application of future chemotherapy in SCLC patients, and is beneficial to improving the treatment effect of clinical small cell lung cancer.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of biomedicine, in particular to the application of m6A-related lncRNA in predicting the prognosis and chemotherapy response of small cell lung cancer. Background technique [0002] Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is a highly lethal high-grade neuroendocrine tumor characterized by short tumor doubling time, rapid growth, and early metastatic spread. SCLC accounts for about 15% of lung cancers, and the five-year survival rate of patients is less than 7%. Despite the continuous development of new therapeutic measures such as molecular targeted drugs and immune checkpoint inhibitors, there has been no significant breakthrough in the treatment strategies for patients with small cell lung cancer in recent decades, and chemotherapy is still an irreplaceable first-line treatment for patients with small cell lung cancer . However, most SCLC patients rapidly develop drug resistance after treatment even though they are sensitiv...
