Application of compound cyproheptadine hydrochloride in preparation of medicine for preventing or treating African swine fever

A technology for cyproheptadine hydrochloride and African swine fever, which is used in the prevention or treatment of African swine fever. The compound cyproheptadine hydrochloride can solve problems such as no research showing that Cyproheptadinehydrochloride has anti-African swine fever virus effects, and prevent the virus from invading host cells. , the effect of reducing the level of transcription and protein expression

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of African swine fever treatment, and particularly relates to application of a compound cyproheptadine hydrochloride in preventing or treating African swine fever. The invention finds that the compound cyproheptadine hydrochloride can significantly inhibit ASFV replication. It is found that cyproheptadine hydrochloride not only inhibits transcription and protein expression of a target protein D1133L, but also can reduce transcription and protein expression levels of p30 and p72 and prevent viruses from invading host cells, and can be used for inhibiting early and late stage infection of ASFV. Therefore, the compound cyproheptadine hydrochloride can be used for preventing or treating African swine fever.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of treating African swine fever, and in particular relates to a new application of a compound, Cyproheptadine hydrochloride, for preventing or treating African swine fever. Background technique [0002] African swine fever (ASF) is an acute, highly contagious disease caused by African swine fever virus (ASFV) infection, with a mortality rate of up to 100%. Since it was introduced into China in 2018, it has caused significant economic losses to the domestic pig industry. There is currently no commercial vaccine, so the development of effective antiviral drugs at a reasonable cost is of great importance for the treatment of ASF. Although various types of active anti-ASFV drugs have been reported, the in vivo efficacy of these compounds has not been evaluated. [0003] ASFV is a double-stranded DNA virus that replicates mainly in monocytes and macrophages and encodes more than 50 structural proteins and more ...
