Embodiment Construction
[0113] The principles of the invention will be illustrated by various embodiments of the invention. It is to be understood, however, that other embodiments than those actually shown and described in this detailed description may be devised by those skilled in the art and that the scope of the invention is defined by the independent claims.
[0114] refer to figure 1 , figure 2 with image 3 , shows a schematic representation of a sports shooting target (hereinafter simply referred to as "target") according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is generally indicated by reference numeral 1 .
[0115] The target is defined by a rotational or longitudinal axis (z) and generally extends in and about the (x,y) plane, as figure 1 shown in . In this embodiment, the target comprises three concentric ring members 5 , 6 , 7 surrounding a central hub portion 2 surrounding a central space 8 . In this embodiment, the hub part 2 has an inner peripheral surface 4' having a s...

Abstract
The invention relates to a motion shooting target made of biodegradable materials. The target has an axis of rotation (z) and attachment means (2, 4 ', 4' ', 10, 11, 15) for releasable attachment to the firing means, in which the target is provided with trajectory stabilization means configured to stabilize the trajectory of the target by a gyration effect caused by rotation about said axis of rotation (z), the trajectory of the target being stabilized by the gyration effect caused by rotation about said axis of rotation (z) when the target is rotated, and the attachment means (2, 4', 4 '', 10, 11, 15) being supported by the attachment means (2, 4 ', 4' ', 10, 11, 15) and the attachment means (2, 4', 4 '', 10, 11, 15). The stabilizing means also serve as propulsion means for moving the target forward along the trajectory of the target as a result of a rotation about the axis of rotation (z), said stabilizing means comprising a sector, the sector comprises sector blades (3 ', 3' ') that rotate in unison with the target when the target rotates, such that the stabilizing means provide both said stable turning effect and forward propulsion (movement) of the target along a selected trajectory. The target includes: a hub portion configured to be releasably attached to a corresponding portion of the launch device; and a plurality of concentric ring members (5, 6, 7; 12, 13, 14) arranged around the axis of rotation (z) of the target at different distances (r5, r6, r7) from the axis of rotation (z) and outside the hub portion (2). The stabilizing means comprise a first sector blade (3 ') extending radially from the hub portion (2, 15) to the ring members (7, 14) arranged at a maximum distance from the axis of rotation (z), and a second sector blade (3' ') extending radially between two adjacent ring members. The invention also relates to: a launching device for launching the target; comprising the launching device of the invention; and a method of launching a target for flying saucer shooting and similar sports shooting activities.
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of sport shooting targets and equipment for launching such targets, and more particularly, the present invention relates to improvements in targets and equipment for the purpose of reducing environmental hazards caused by targets and for the launch of targets from launching equipment. The trajectory stability of the latter is improved. Background technique [0002] Prior art sports shooting targets such as clay skeet targets are made of limestone and a binding material such as asphalt, asphalt or other organic material and typically weigh about 105 grams to 110 grams. Adhesive materials may contain components that pose a potential risk to the environment. Adhesive materials may contain a mixture of different hydrocarbons known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and some of the different hydrocarbons are known to be toxic. [0003] Prior art launching devices comprise a throwing arm which is rotatabl...
