Abstract

Provided is an imaging system capable of color correction by simple calibration to achieve color invariance and capable of sufficient color correction even if a reference image portion is small. It includes a camera 2 having a lens 41 , an imaging element 31 and a reflection surface 61 and capturing a main picture on the imaging element. The average value of the plurality of pixel units for each color channel in the reflected light of the reference picture received by the imaging element is obtained as the reference signal value (m, gn, bn). The reference signal value represents the color of the light source, and the main image is corrected with the reference signal value. In addition to electronic processing such as digital or analog in the image processing device 7, correction can also be optically processed in front of the imaging element 31 using a color correction filter.
