The divergent and expanding language learning system includes basic data base for saving basic words, associative data base for saving corresponding associative words, phrase data base for saving corresponding phrases, input receiving module for receiving the user's word selected from the basic data base and the level of the word, level controlling module for determining the current level of the user's input, search module for searching corresponding content in the data base and display module for displaying the searched content. The present invention makes it possible for the user to learn words in divergent and expanding mode and is favorable to grasping the learned content.
