The mixture was heated under reflux at 92°C-93°C for 2 hours for thermal isomerization. Next, insoluble matter was filtered off with filter paper. The filtrate was then concentrated under reduced pressure, and the concentrate was lyophilized. Lyophilization yielded about 18 g of powdered isomerized hop extract. The isoxanthohumol content of powdered isomerized hop extract is about 70%.
