Benefits of technology

"The present invention is a shoe with an adjustable heel strap that fits different sizes of feet. The shoe has hooks around the mid-section and toe area that can be attached to an elastic band. The hooks are positioned on the inside of the foot at the ball of foot, on the outside of the foot at the back of the 5th metatarsal, and on the back of the 2nd metatarsal. This makes the shoe fit different sizes of feet by adjusting the strap around the posterior calcaneus."

Problems solved by technology

The prior art teaches various shoe-like devices for providing resistance exercise to the foot and ankle muscles, but they are all insufficient for various reasons.
The most common issue with the devices taught in the prior art is their inferior placement of attachment points along the peripheral of the shoe and the in-ability for the device to be used by a variety of wearers.
