A bed storage system includes at least one storage area in easily reachable proximity to a user of a bed. The bed bag apparel can include a fabric strip with two side-by-side pouches sewn directly on each side of the fabric strip. The pouches can be sewn into the fabric strip on three sides leaving the top side open to form a bag. A pocket can be located at a backside of each of the two side-by-side pouches. Additionally, anchoring sections including anchoring mass can maintain the fabric strip against a mattress. The pouches hang off on the left and right side of the bed when the fabric strip is laid across the bed. Such bed bag apparel can provide convenient access to double-pouch storage areas on both sides of the bed.
