[0021]A transport installation 1 by overhead cable 2, comprising at least one vehicle 3, has been represented in FIG. 1. The installation 1 is preferably a chairlift comprising an overhead cable 2 which acts as both carrying and hauling cable on which the vehicles 3 are attached in order to be pulled.
