62 results about "Bow tie" patented technology

In the biological sciences, the term bow tie (so called for its shape) is a recent concept that tries to grasp the essence of some operational and functional structures observed in biological organisms and other kinds of complex and self-organizing systems. In general, bow tie architectures refer to ordered and recurrent structures that often underlie complex technological or biological systems, and that are capable of conferring them a balance among efficiency, robustness and evolvability. In other words, bow ties are able to take into account a great diversity of inputs (fanning in to the knot), showing a much smaller diversity in the protocols and processes (the knot) able to elaborate these inputs, and finally an extremely heterogeneous diversity of outputs (fanning out of the bowtie). These architectures thus manage a wide range of inputs through a core (knot) constituted by a limited number of elements. In such structures, inputs are conveyed into a sort of funnel, towards a "synthesis" core, where they can be duly organized, processed and managed by means of protocols , and from where, in turn, a variety of outputs, or responses, is propagated.

Method for evaluating integrity failure risk of dual-drive deepwater shaft

The invention provides a dual-drive deepwater wellbore integrity failure risk evaluation method, and belongs to the technical field of deepwater drilling safety, and the dual-drive deepwater wellbore integrity failure risk evaluation method comprises the following steps: based on fault tree analysis in a bowknot model, identifying a wellbore integrity failure mode; constructing a differentiated evaluation path according to the failure mode, and quantifying a static equipment failure risk and a dynamic structure failure risk respectively; constructing a wellbore system-level failure probability model through a fault tree and Bayesian network dynamic mapping mechanism; based on event tree analysis, modeling is conducted on the safety barrier state after shaft integrity failure, accident consequences are deduced, and the occurrence probability of the accident consequences is calculated; and outputting the system-level failure probability, the key path contribution degree, the bottom event sensitivity sequence and the accident consequence probability, and solving the technical problem that the system-level failure risk is difficult to accurately predict and dynamically prevent and control because static empirical data and a dynamic mechanical mechanism are separated and cannot be coupled and updated in real time.

Passenger cabin bumping event emergency decision-making method based on improved bow tie-continuous Bayesian network model

The invention discloses a passenger cabin bumping event emergency decision-making method based on an improved bow-tie-continuous Bayesian network model, and the method comprises the following steps: determining a disposal node and a node relation according to a preset bumping event emergency disposal process; constructing a bow-tie model according to the disposal nodes and the node relationship, and recording node states under a plurality of time slices before and after a bumping event through the bow-tie model to obtain a dynamic bow-tie model; the dynamic bow tie model is converted into a continuous Bayesian network model, and the transition probability of any node under different time slices is calculated through a preset transition mode; according to the method, the continuous Bayesian network model is formed by improving the bow-tie model, simulation of the state of each node along with time change before and after the bumping event can be realized, and dynamic analysis of each node can be realized.
