This invention provides a control device for a supplementary light. Based on this application, the control device utilizes a
signal sampling circuit to sample a brightness sensing component, obtaining a sampling
voltage signal representing the ambient brightness. Furthermore, it can generate a switching logic
signal to indicate the start or stop of the supplementary light's LED module by comparing the sampling
voltage signal with a
threshold voltage. In addition, the control device includes a
hysteresis control circuit. This
hysteresis circuit adjusts the adjustable resistance value upon which the signal sampling circuit generates the sampling
voltage signal based on the switching logic signal. This suppresses the voltage increment of the sampling voltage signal caused by the supplementary light brightness when the LED module starts up, thereby creating a
hysteresis constraint to suppress supplementary light brightness interference during the switching process from start to stop of the LED module. This, in turn, suppresses flickering of the supplementary light when the ambient brightness changes.
