A fruit cutter includes a fixed seat, and a cutting device movable relative to the fixed seat. The cutting device includes a movable seat and a blade unit. The blade unit includes a plurality of cutting blades. The cutting blades have an intersection provided with a sharp tapered drilling portion. Each of the cutting blades has a mediate portion provided with a concave guide edge. Thus, the drilling portion of the cutting blades is inserted into the central portion of the fruit to pierce the fruit, while the cutting blades of the blade unit extend from the central portion toward the rim of the fruit to cut and separate the fruit by guidance of the guide edge of each of the cutting blades, so that the fruit is cut into multiple parts easily and quickly.

A self-adjusting base member preferably of a mounting bracket assembly is utilized in conjunction with exterior siding that covers sheathing of an exterior wall. The base member of the assembly has a mounting flange secured to the sheathing and a wall arrangement that projects outward with respect to the sheathing and from the mounting flange. Preferably, the wall arrangement supports a raised central panel used for mounting of fixtures. Spaced radially outward from the wall arrangement is at least one flexible drip ledge of the base member. The device is constructed of a tube having a wall, a central bore, first and second ends, and at least two slots defined within the wall of the tube. The slots preferably extend from the first end of the tube to an area proximate to the second end. Additionally, the second end has a cutting edge for penetrating and cutting the fruit. The present corer has a plunger which is slidably positioned within the central bore of the tube and is linked, via at least two tab connectors, to an outer ring slidably positioned about a portion of the exterior of the tube. A movable guard to protect the cutting edge at the second end, where the guard includes the outer ring slidably positioned about a portion of the exterior of the tube is also featured.

An bi-directional mounting bracket assembly is utilized in conjunction with exterior siding that covers sheathing of an exterior wall. A base member of the assembly has a mounting flange secured to the sheathing and a wall arrangement that projects outward with respect to the sheathing and from the mounting flange. Preferably, the wall arrangement supports a raised central panel used for mounting of fixtures. The coring assembly is a pipe-like segment having a length proportioned to a depth sufficient to reach the central cavity of the fruit, the segment having a serrated first end and an open second end having internal threadings; and lateral hardware attached to and extending from an outer surface of the second end of the pipe-like segment, for facilitating selectable rotation of the pipe-like segment after the corkscrew assembly has positioned the pipe-like assembly upon the fruit to be cored. The corkscrew assembly includes a corkscrew proper; a boss proportioned for threadable engagement with the threaded inner surface of the second end of the pipe-like segment, in which the boss is integral with a second end of the elongate member; and a handle of the corkscrew assembly which is integral to a side of the boss opposite said elongate member. The aggregate length of the entirety of the corkscrew assembly substantially exceeds a length of the coring assembly.

The base and cover have side walls dimensioned so that the cover interfaces with the base after driving.
