A movable fuel processing device and an airtight box (110), comprising that the airtight box (110) has an outer wall defining an inner space and provided with an airtight isolation layer (105). Connected to the airtight box (110) is a moving device (90) for changing the position of the airtight box (110). A fuel converter (115) capable of supplying a sufficient amount of hydrogen-rich conversion to the fuel cell stack (generating at least about 1KW per hour) is disposed within the interior space of the closed box (110). An optional gas detection system includes sensors (180) disposed within the enclosure (110) for monitoring the presence of combustible gases within the enclosure (110). The movable unit may have several connection heads (122, 124) to connect the closed tank (110), fuel treatment system to the converter fuel source, water source, and domestic drain (150).
