Abstract

A cultivation model of Catalp asexual propagation uses a model which includes two steps: first, makes Catalp asexual stem quick dipping in a solution of IBA, NBA (2:1) 500-1500ppm; second, Catalp asexual stem which is dipped in the solution is levelly buried in the middle to grow in a soil substrate containing vermiculite, perlite and sand. The cultivation model has a plurality of advantages: the cultivation model is simple and easy to learn for forestry and agriculture; degradation phenomenon of good characters for seeds propagation is avoided by propagating Catalp chozen clones using the cultivation model; Catalp seedlings can be propagated massively and quickly; moreover, the average survival rate reaches to more than 95%, and the average survival rate of conventional cuttage method is between 10% and 20%; the raw material used is cheap and easy to be get; the method is simple and practicable.
