The method comprisesthe following steps that annual robust seed branches of catalpa bungei variety and clone are selected to be disinfected and then placed in a pregermination pond to grow cutting slips, coppice shootsare obtained after 5-7 weeks, and disinfection is conducted after the cutting slips obtained is pruned; peat and perlite of 2:1 are selected as cutting medium materials, the peat and perlite are inserted into a point disk, 1L of talcum powder are mixed with ABT No.1 500*(10-6)mg/L and GGR No.7 (80*10)-6mg/L to prepare rooting powder, the base portions of the cutting slips are evenly dipped into the rooting powder and put into the holes formed in the point disk, and the cutting slips are poured over with clean water and sprayed with bactericide after fixed; atomization management is performed within 1-10 days after cuttage, the atomization management is stopped after 10 days, illumination is increased, ventilation is conducted, bactericide is sprayed at regular intervals, and foliar fertilizers are sprayed at regular intervals after 3 weeks of the cuttage to obtain cuttage seedlings; 5 weeks after the cuttage, full illumination is supplied, temperature is controlled, regular watering isperformed, fertilizers are applied, and hardening-seedling is conducted; 7-8 weeks after the cuttage, the cuttage seedings are transplanted, sufficient water is poured over on the cuttage seedlings,and then managements such as watering, fertilization and the like are performed. The method has the advantages of high rooting rate, good universality and low cost.
