specific Embodiment approach

[0012] A kind of method of the present invention improves the rooting rate of catalpa tree tender bud cuttings by removing the top buds of cuttings, and its preferred embodiment is:

[0013] (1) Sand storage germination

[0014] In the first ten days of March 2013, the branches of 7 clones were cut into 30cm long and evenly placed in a flat sand bed, then covered with 3-5cm of fine sand, and watered thoroughly. Spray and irrigate the sand bed with 500 times of carbendazim turbid solution every week.

[0015] (2) Bud cuttings

[0016] Mix the peat and perlite at a volume ratio of 1:1 and put them into seedling pots (15×15×20 cm) and spray them with 500 times carbendazim turbid solution.

[0017] When the height of the newly germinated shoots in the sand bed reaches 10-15 cm, remove the twigs with heels within 7-10 days after removing the 2-3 cm terminal buds of the shoots, and use them as cuttings. Cut off the leaves on the cuttings together with the petiole, leaving only th...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for increasing the tender bud cutting and rooting rate of catalpa bungei in a mode of removing terminal buds of cutting slips. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: selecting three-year to four-year strong branches of catalpa bungei in March, and cutting into 30-40cm shoot segments for sand storage; when the height of newly-germinated tender buds in a sand bed reaches 10-15cm, removing the terminals of the tender buds; after ten days, taking down the tender buds with heels as cutting slips; after cutting off half of leaves on the cutting slips, soaking roots into 75% alcohol for disinfection for 30 seconds, then soaking into 3000mg.L<-1> IBA (Indole Butyric Acid) for 60 seconds, and finally inserting the cutting slips into a seedling-raising disk; inserting one cutting slip into each hole cup with the depth to be 1 / 2-1 / 3 of the length of the cutting slip; after cutting, using a 85% shade net to cover for sun block, and using an automatic spray device to spray for supplying water; and hardening seedlings for 10-15 days and then planting after entering the seedling hardening period, namely 70 days after cutting. The survival rate of catalpa bungei tender buds cut by the method can reach more than 80 percent, and the popularization and application of catalpa bungei are greatly promoted.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for improving the cutting rooting rate of catalpa tree tender buds by removing the top buds of cuttings. Background technique [0002] Catalpa bungei is a precious tree species of the Bignoniaceae genus Catalpa. It is a high-quality timber tree species traditionally cultivated in my country. It is famous for its excellent material and is known as the "King of Wood". Catalpa has strong adaptability and is distributed in a vast area from the seashore in the east to Gansu in the west, Yunnan in the south and the Great Wall in the north. Catalpa is a unique tree species in my country that combines the advantages of ornamental, environmental protection, protection, and corrosion resistance, and has extremely high economic value. At present, the State Forestry Administration, the Environmental Protection Bureau, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai and other provinces and cities have listed the eucalyptus as an important tree sp...
