Problems solved by technology
1. In the case of roaming, the user wants to access the MBMS service of the roaming area or the home area but cannot complete the service authorization;
2. In the case of roaming, the user wants to access the MBMS service of the roaming location or the home location, but there is no guarantee that the routing is optimized
3. In the case of roaming, it is not guaranteed to access MBMS services when there are operating policies or roaming agreement restrictions on the MBMS bearer of roaming users between operators

The invention discloses a method of accessing the roaming user of the mobile communication system to a multicast service. When the roaming user is accessed to a broadcast multicast service of the GGSN requiring roaming region of the local region from the roaming region, the BM-SC of the local region searches for the address to the BM-SC of the roaming region of the user, which achieve the authorization to the user and the APN indication of the roaming network; the BM-SC of the local region returns the APN to the SCSN or rectifies the received APN and then sends the APN to the SGSN according to route regulations and roaming agreement between operators. When the roaming user is accessed to a MBMS service of the local region from the GGSN at the roaming region, the GGSN atthe roaming region is accessed to the BM-SC at the roaming region, then searches for the address to the BM-SC of the local region of the user and achieves the authorization of the user and the APN indication of the local network; the BM-SC at the roaming region returns the APN to the SGSN or rectifies the received APN and then sends the APN to the SBSN according to the route regulations and the roaming agreement between the operators. The invention completely meets the requirement of accessing the roaming user to the MBMS service, the route for bearing the MBMS service is optimized; the present core network is not changed.
Description
Method for accessing multicast service by roaming users in mobile communication system technical field The present invention relates to a mobile communication system, in particular to a method for how to access a multicast broadcast service (MBMS: Multimedia Broadcast / Multicast Service) when a user roams in the mobile communication system. Background technique First, the English terms and abbreviations involved in the present invention are described: MBMS: MultimediaBroadcast / MulticastService, multimedia broadcast / multicast service. APN: AccessPointName, access point name. SGSN: ServiceGSN, the network element responsible for mobility management on the core network side. GGSN: GatewayGSN, the core network side is responsible for connecting to and sending out the network elements of the core network. BM-SC: Broadcast-MulticastServiceCentre, broadcast multicast service center. PLMN: PublicLandMobileNetwork, public land mobile network. In order to effectively util...
